This Awful Energy [Sterek fic]

So I had some pent up emotions and apparently writing a Sterek fic was the solution to that so…yeah I guess I’m writing Sterek again? Maybe? We’ll see. Either way here’s a new fic!

“I fucking hate you!” Stiles shouted, crowding Derek back against the wall - which would have been laughable, Stiles managing to intimidate Derek enough to keep him in place. Except Derek wasn’t laughing. He was cooperating for both of their sakes. It would help no one to dismiss Stiles as weak right now, to ignore his feelings which her hot and fierce against Derek’s senses. The force of his emotions kept Derek back into the wall more than anything.

“You need to stay out of my life Derek! You can’t just- I was happy!”

Woah indeed.

Hello friends.

“Woah!” Stiles exclaimed and suddenly he was less than a breath away from Derek’s face. Of course Derek could respond with the usual threats, physical force, and other scare tactics but the proximity of Stiles and the scent of Stiles made him pause. Luckily his face had already been in a default frowning state. That would have to suffice.

Stiles stared at him, or maybe through him, Derek could only be sure that he was starting to feel uncomfortable and potentially exposed. This would have to stop.

“You have pretty eyes,” Stiles finally concluded, moving a fraction closer to study the various colors within Derek’s iris.

Derek squinted and tilted his head. Did Stiles really just…

“Aw don’t close your eyes! It’s okay to be a pretty werewolf Derek. Embrace the pretty and lemme see your eyes because there’s some weird color blending going on in there.”

Rolling his eyes, Derek pushed Stiles back with a hand on his chest and turned to walk away. Stiles followed him after a couple seconds and continued to list the reasons why he should let him examine his eyes, possibly under a microscope. Derek kept his back to the boy, partly because ‘under a microscope’ was slightly disturbing and mostly because he didn’t want Stiles to see the faint shade of pink rushing to his cheeks.

Holy shit… I don’t remember the last time i saw arrafrost writing sterek stuff. I had actually forgot i had followed them for exactly that (years ago lmao)

Who let the year 2013 come back to haunt us am I right? (It’s been so long I think we all forgot)
