I love the carverse idea. A question though: Wouldn't it make sense to base the ages of the cars' human alter-egos off the ages of the cars themselves (since you made Porsche a (little) girl already)? As such, wouldn't Jeep be the oldest of them all? Might add a little twist to the age gap issue between Derek/Stiles and Camaro/Jeep. And might make Cruiser's protectiveness of Jeep quite funny. Also, then Jeep's character might be more settled than Stiles and he might bond with the sheriff. >:D

Weelll we did think about this, but some of the cars are pretty new. Like the Camaro is a 2010, and Chris argent’s car is a 2012 4runner. Do you really want a bunch of children running around?
We sorta went with this idea that the cars were as old as how they were treated. Explained quite nicely in this fic.
For example, Porsche is a little girl, because Jackson treats his car like his baby. See? Jeep is sorta like a little brother, Cruiser is a partner, and cam is a brother. or friend. It works out. :D
I was considering writing a fic for the carverse but I'm running into problems, and I don't want to start ruining your headcanon. Like.... Do the cars turn into cars? Is anything else anthropomorphic? How do they get around if they don't get into cars? Do they interact with actual TW characters, or is it a secret? Why does the jeep have bandages on all the time? So many questions.... :P

aahha! oh wow, okay i’ll answer all best i can! this helps me as well for figuring more borders in the universe.
So they CAN change into cars whenever the want. if they’re hurt as a car, they’re hurt as a human. vise versa. except they can heal if they’re hurt as a human. but should they break a window, they must get it replaced to be able to be healed in human form. (window = black eye, tire = leg or arm, light = goggles, etc.)
They can do whatever a human can do! Especially driving.
Yes they do interact with the other characters. It’s pretty much the same teen wolf universe, only stiles can do magic(or thats what my own headcanon on how they came to life) They’re like pack after a while. :D and each do their own thing(usually sticking to owner but not needed). like Cruiser follows sheriff Stilinski around alot; helps out around the station, Solves cases(he can quite easily cause he thinks like a criminal.)
The characters just brush it off when people ask about these random people following them around. sheriff calls cruiser, a volunteer. jeep is a cousin. Derek says cam is a long lost brother. Porsche is a girl Lydia and Jackson babysit a lot. it somehow works.
jeep is the only one to wear bandages? I’m pretty sure. and that’s because the first explanation. Jeep is an older car. he’s been fixed up a couple times, gained a few dents, claw marks, tree splinters. Obviously stiles couldn’t fix all these problems perfectly without buying a whole new car, so jeep has a bandages because he needs just a little more help to hold together. :D

Carverse question! Vehicles are traditionally referred to in the feminine, so I was wondering if you were considering making any of the TW cars female?

Ah! Yeah, i just like drawing boys and then they all turned into guys but yes! Aidi and Arra and I are talking about Porsche right now . She’s a young girl actually. :P

I want to try and draw all the cars/bikes/vehicles. :P A little side challenge. I think Chris’s 4runner is next…. But that idea is something we very much would have come across.

Your last ask/response resulted in a personal headcanon that Cruisers eyes flash red/blue like a wolf's when he sense danger/trouble and criminals; and that this greatly confuses Derek and the pack when they meet him.

Okay, it's slightly worrying that I'm super-shipping anthropomorphic cars from a supernatural drama but regardless I'm still going to say how much I love it. A question though - how is Cruiser supposed to be related to Jeep? Is Jeep Cruiser's son? Or bros? Or is this like an love triangle? (still a better story than twilight!)

Aw yeah. people asking the right questions. Well since my headcanon of the cars even being alive is stiles used magic to bring them to life(hush, this whole thing is crazy. no logic or canon needed. but appreciated). So i’m just thinking cruiser and jeep have spent quite a few nights just sitting on the Stilinski driveway for as long as they can remember(maybe a little longer for cruiser). but they’re like family, and the only way i could describe it to anyone was:
Cruiser is Jeep’s friend/big brother/father/uncle.
bad influence like a friend
acts very brotherly torwards him
as protective as a father
and and just gives off that uncle feel.
I am so sorry to the people who are wondering why this blogger they’re following is shipping CARS. but i’m not sorry enough to stop. :P I’ll try to tag everything carverse. (For all your blacklist needs.)
Weird thought but....wouldn't it be fitting if Cruiser had Heterochromia?

Aidi and I have definitely thought about it! But we thought it would be too much since he already has red and blue hair. My alternative design for him was normal hair and flashing red and blue eyes.
Cruiser decides to join his favorite Jeep watching a movie. Cam was there too but it’s not like they were in the middle of anything.
